My name is Kelly. I am located in Hudson, NY. I breed and raise CKC registered chihuahua's. I normally only have ONE litter of puppies per year. All 5 of my dogs are treated like family. They are never crated, caged, or kenneled. Our 4 chihuahua's sleep on the bed with us at night, under the covers.
All of our chihuahua's are short haired but we do get both long haired and short haired puppies in each litter. All of our chihuahua's are standard sized chi's, therefore our puppies are also standard sized too. We do, however, get an occasional smaller than average puppy once in a while. There is no such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua! First and foremost, "teacup" is simply a term... nothing more. It is not a special breed, or anything else other than a word. Many, not so reputable, breeders will use the word "teacup" as a way to get more money for their puppies. The very tiny "teacups" are normally the runts of the litter and usually have health problems as adults and tend to have shorter life spans.
All of our puppies are raised right in our living room and are also part of our family. We work on wee-wee pad training as soon as they are old enough to come out of the whelping box on their own. They are usually about 95% wee-wee pad trained by the time they are ready for their new homes. Our chihuahua puppies will also have their vaccinations and de-wormings up to date by the time they are ready for their new homes. They will be vaccinated against Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Canine Parainfluenza, and Canine Parvovirus.

Sadly, we lost Dakota in March, three months after her 16th birthday.
